ITS SNOWING IN GEORGIA!!

It is snowing in Georgia! I was so excited that I couldnt wait to bundle Marlee up and take her out to play. She wasnt so excited. Here are a few pictures from today!

6 months

It has been 6 months since Marlee was born and it has flown by. It feels like yesterday I was panicking to get to the hospital after my water broke. :-) Being a mom is so great and it is more than I ever expected. Marlee teaches me something new everyday. I cant wait to teach her how to iceskate or how to ride a bike and most of all I can't wait to go to Disney World. I know Im a nerd but I am super excited about Disney!! :-)

Marlee is doing alot of new things lately ~ she can roll over on both sides and as of last week can sit up all by herself. She is so spoiled and knows just how to get your attention. She now sits in a highchair when we go to restaurants and loves it when Sam and Roxy pay attention to her. She is completely a daddy's girl and could care less if I am in the room as long as her dad is holding her. She would love to crawl if only she could figure it out, maybe in a month or so. Marlee loves to be sung too and sing along. She might just sing along to drown out my singing. :-)

I haven't been the best at keeping up with my blog but I feel like I am just figuring out how to make time for things with a baby or maybe she just isnt needing my attention all the time. I promise to do better. Also, if someone could give me tips on how to make my blog cute I would appreciate it, I just can't figure it out! Im a true blonde! :-0

I am getting OLD!

So ~ I am 27 and feel like I have accomplished alot in my life. I have done all of the normal things like graduate college, get married, and now have a baby on the way. I was feeling pretty good about all of this until this last week I got a myspace invitation for my 10 year high school reunion. Where has 10 years gone? Until now I felt like my life was just beginning, now I don't know where time has gone!? :-)

New to Blogging and Tornadoes!

So, I decided to start this blog because I have several friends that have their own that I really enjoy reading. Hopefully I am better at keeping up with this than my Myspace page.

Mike and I got married last June 22, 2007 and are expecting our first and most likely our only child in September. I'm not sure who said pregnancy gives you this beautiful glow and makes you feel better than you ever felt, because I am in my 6Th month and still waiting for the glow and the good feeling! :-) We found out not too long ago that we are having a girl and are so excited. Coming up with a name has been extremely difficult, I remember always hating my name because no one could ever say it the right way. I think that we have decided on MARLEE KATE. I promise to put up belly pictures as soon as I get brave enough.

TORNADOES!!

We had a tornado in Georgia on Sunday. Mike and I woke up to the news saying that we were in a state of emergency! Now since I am from Oklahoma and tornadoes are an everyday thing I found this really humorous. I even got a call from the office I work at saying that we might be closed. Unfortunately I ended up having to work but couldn't believe that I might not have to go in because of a tornado. :-) Luckily there wasn't too much damage just a bunch of power lines knocked down by tree's and 1 death. So I am thankful that I have lived through one more tornado!! :-)
